they charge $20 for each 30 min lesson of guitar.. is it cheap or expensive?

Would I learn a lot?

In 6 months, you should be able to play pretty good. I won my first contest after 8 months of playing.
Have to admit that I practiced 6 hours a night , every night but I became profiicient rather quickly. I listened to a lof of instrumental Venture albums and developed a very good timing and ear training.

As for the lessons, I charge $75 an hour but I only teach advanced students. You are paying less because you are a beginner.

I have a guitar, and I dont even know how to play it. I dont want to take lessons so i was wondering if anyone has used the lessons On Demand on comcast and if they would help me learn at the least tyhe basics! Also which ones because there are multiple ones i think? Thanks!

well if you don’t want to take lessons, your not going to get very far with the guitar. If you plan on getting good at guitar, you have to have loads of interest and motivation to play it. I’ve taken both piano and guitar lessons and it is way better then online lessons. The first few lessons you feel very nervous, but that soon goes away…and once you get better, then you will really enjoy guitar lessons.

If you’re looking for a great way to learn how to play guitar here it is. I’ve never been able to absorb so much material so fast and see such an improvement in my playing as a result of it.

It’s really surprising how fast you can learn when you’re being taught the right way.

The guide is called Jamorama and you can download the online guitar lessons from their site to learn how to play guitar yourself.

You can also order DVDs and books from them to learn how to play guitar instead of downloading their online guitar lessons if you choose to – I just downloaded mine and can also download tabs and sheet music online while I’m learning from this program.

My friend told me she got a bass lesson for $15 a month! That sounds like a pretty good price considering that she knows how to play fret-less now too. I wanted to know if I could get any good electric guitar lessons around New York/Queens. Good, thorough lesson.Thanks.

That is a good price but is the teacher giving you quality time ? Anybody can charge a cheap rate and take longer to show you the same time a good teacher would teach in less time.

Ask your friend if they teach guitar for that price. Their are tons of places in New York.
